Thank you for expressing interest in doing your Cross Cultural Ministry Practicum with Restoration. My own CCMP in Minneapolis was a key component for why my family eventually moved and planted a church here. It showed me the great need in this city for a vibrant, gospel-centered, liturgical church in the Twin Cities. If you choose to come to Minneapolis for your CCMP, my hope is that you’ll fall more in love with sacramental church planting in a diverse city.

Meet Restoration

Anglicanism is the third largest association of Christian churches in the world with the majority of its congregations in the global South. Features of our heritage include being biblical —we hold to the unique authority of the Bible as God’s Word; liturgical —we use forms of service that are consistent with the Anglican Book of Common Prayer; and missional —we joyfully invite others into abundant life with Jesus. We believe that our tradition gives many tools for communicating the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of this generation.

Restoration Anglican launched weekly services in November 2017 in Minneapolis. Please take a moment to learn more about our name, values, leadership, heritage, and mission partners here.

About the Internship

This internship is best suited for students who are:

  1. Burdened for diverse cities of America.

  2. Discerning a call to church planting.

  3. Value the traditions of the liturgical church.

Over the course of this two week internship, we hope to provide the following for you:

  • An introduction to the spiritual climate of Minneapolis. We’ll give you a tour of the city, complete with some of its spiritual and ethnic landmarks.

  • An in-depth look at our sacramental church planting strategy. We’ll share the story of why and how Restoration was launched.

  • Opportunities to participate in our church life. These largely depend on the events and meetings of our church that are occurring during your stay.

Logistics

We encourage students to come after finals in mid-May. We can work on the exact dates as we get closer to the time.

Students are responsible for their own airfare and car rental. You should also bring about $250 for food and activities.
