What to expect on Sunday morning

Children are a blessing to our community and are fully included in the life of the church. We take seriously our calling to bless children through prayer, teaching, worship, and other forms of encouragement.

Communion is a family event. Halfway through the service, shortly after the sermon, children come into the sanctuary and partake in communion with all of God’s people.

Nursery & Toddler Class

Our toddlers meet weekly in the nursery and enjoy a program specifically designed for them. They enjoy songs, finger plays, and play-based activities that connect God to concrete concept-based learning that is appropriate for their age. Our volunteers talk and play alongside our children on the floor, lovingly connecting God to the children’s experience as they play.

Pre-K and Lower Elementary CLass

Our Pre-K/Lower Elementary class meets weekly. Here, we welcome our young children into a space intentionally designed for them to worship, encounter God, and grow in faith. Our center-based program offers developmentally appropriate activities for exploration. Our volunteers lovingly engage with children during exploration. They also have a short gathering time on the rug, listen to a story, and participate in thoughtful conversation and prayer.

Club (Grades 3-6)

Our 3rd-6th graders meet twice a month. In Club, they build friendships, dig into Scripture, and work together on projects to explore God’s work in these Scriptures. On non-Club Sundays, they remain in service because we believe our children are a valued, important part of our Restoration Family, and are active and present in the Kingdom of Heaven. There are occasional activities outside of church.
