Calling all instrumentalists and vocalists wanting to play or learn traditional bluegrass music! We’ll play three or four bluegrass songs, circulated in advance (with recordings) so that most of our time can be spent jamming––at a slow tempo––together. All skill levels and abilities are welcome! Traditional bluegrass instruments are guitar, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, and upright bass, but we’re willing to consider some alternative approaches! Sessions are an opportunity to gather together around an expert or activity for the sake of having fun or learning something new. The term 'sessions' refers to a class-like setting or something like a band's jam session. It's a mashup of good fun and good conversation. Check out some of the upcoming Sessions!
