Sessions: Poetry of George Herbert

Come read and discuss the poetry of George Herbert, a 17th-century Anglican priest. His inventive, playful poetry explores anger at God, thwarted ambition, and sin--but most of all, God's great love. No prior experience with poetry needed! RSVP to receive a packet of the poems we'll be reading together.

Sessions are an opportunity to gather together around an expert or activity for the sake of having fun or learning something new. The term 'sessions' refers to a class-like setting or something like a band's jam session. It's a mashup of good fun and good conversation. Check out some of the upcoming Sessions!
