The Matthew25 Initiative is a group of Anglicans in North America, doing works of justice and mercy, contending for shalom. Every year, they host a gathering that provides space for connection, equipping, and refreshment. This year, it is being held online.

God is at work in the Latino community in our Diocese. As neither black nor white but sharing in many of the experiences of both, Latinos have a unique gifting and calling as a racial and cultural bridge. As the US enters a renewed period of racial unrest we have an opportunity to be led by the Latino leaders in our Diocese. Come to lunch and/or to the ministry presentation and be inspired by how God is moving us toward greater multicultural familia through these Latino leaders.

Led by members of the congregation, there will be a chance to discuss what we heard in “Politics and the Common Life” and begin exploring what it means to be faithful in Christian political stewardship. The library at the University of Mosul, Iraq was destroyed by ISIS in 2014. We have an opportunity to partner with the Iraqi American Reconciliation Project and by holding a book drive for Mosul on Sunday, May 13, 20 & 27 to restore the library as a credible resource center at one of the Middle East’s most important universities. The Walk for MS is THIS SUNDAY! The Restoration Station will be at the Finish Line. So, park anywhere near Minnehaha Falls and head toward the Finish Line. We’ll be cheering on the walkers and handing out medals. Bring signs and any noise makers you want! We’ll be at the cheer station from 8:30-11:30. Come for a little bit or stay for the whole time. We'll meet in the parking lot of the Nokomis Community Center. Be prepared to park in the side streets, and look for our Restoration signs!

At least 6,200 children die each day from hunger related causes (UNICEF). Join us in being a part of the hunger solution! Restoration will be partnering with Church of the Cross and Church of the Redeemer to pack food for Feed My Starving Children at Target Field on Wed. Sept 20, from 5:30-7:30pm. This is an uplifting experience for all ages! Metro Transit is offering complementary rides so you can avoid the hassle of parking downtown.
