We are currently worshipping in Advent, a season of the church calendar when we remember God’s kept promise of sending a Deliverer —Jesus Christ— for our rescue. And as we remember, we anticipate and long for the second coming of Jesus, when all will be fulfilled and restored.

Generosity

Join us in extending generosity to the following community partners
providing hope and joy in fraught circumstances.

Angel Tree

Prison Fellowship helps individuals break the cycle of brokenness that leads to imprisonment and works to restore America’s criminal justice system.

Through Angel Tree™, people in prison can strengthen their bond with their children. Volunteers buy and deliver Christmas presents to children on behalf of their parents who are incarcerated.

— Gift tags will be available at the Advent Fair and online (link forthcoming).

TFG Deliveries for Good

Together for Good builds relational bridges between families in need with church communities who can demonstrate the love of Jesus.

These Christmas baskets encourage parents to make special memories with their children, give us a touchpoint to begin a relationship with the family, and honor them as TFG participants.

— Sign up at the Advent Fair

Winter Clothing Drive

The Minnesota Council of Churches welcomes hundreds of refugees each year, often from much warmer climates. For some, this winter will be the first time in their life seeing snow!

We are collecting coats, hats, gloves/mittens, scarves and socks of all sizes for the staff of MCC to distribute to these new neighbors.

— Donate all month long and drop items in a box outside Molly’s office.
