Leadership

The children’s leadership team meets regularly to plan, pray, and dig deeper into the calling of the church to love and disciple children.

Emily Collings

Children’s Pastor

Emily received her Bachelors in Children’s Ministry at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, where she also met her husband, Kevin. Emily loves teaching, mentoring, and encouraging children and parents in Christ. She loves helping people of all ages enter into the awe-filled worship of God.

Marissa Fair

Nursery Lead

Marissa holds a bachelor's degree from The University of Northwestern St. Paul and is a stay at home mom of two. She enjoys cozy lattes, all things Christmas, and taking walks with her family. As the Nursery Team Lead, Marissa is honored to serve the precious children at Restoration, cherishing the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with them.

Elise Kling

Preschool Lead and Children’s

Administrator

Elise is currently the Program Manager of Volunteer Services at Children’s Minnesota. She also has a background working in early intervention for kids with autism. She loves celebrating the little things, speaking Spanish, getting her hands messy doing arts and crafts, and telling animated stories.

Anne Boemler

Grades K-1 Lead

Anne is a high school English teacher at St. Paul Academy and Summit School. She is passionate about all the ways God’s people have imaginatively told the story of Christ’s great victory—from discovering The Chronicles of Narnia when she was a little girl, to her study of the poetry of the English Reformation, to now being a storyteller in the K-1 classroom. She loves cross-country skiing, eating exciting food, and exploring new places with her husband Derek and their two children.

Jess Hassler

Grades 2-3 Lead

Jess is a stay at home mom to two boys (and occasionally to an additional foster kiddo or two). In the past she has worked as an elementary school aide and as an administrator at a theatre company for children. She also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Tanzania where she met her husband. They continue to find joy in meeting people from different cultures here in Minneapolis. When she's not cooking yummy food or chasing kids around, she can probably be found swimming, biking, or reading.

Megan Tucker

Grades 4-5 Lead

Megan is a Philanthropy Director at Cassia, an eldercare nonprofit. She loves stories in every form, whether books or movies or listening to someone’s life story. She particularly loves that we come to know God through His stories. Outside of work, Megan likes to explore with her husband James. They love to wander around the Twin Cities with their “Newdle” Solveig, looking for new restaurants to try. They also like to go on overseas adventures as often as their credit card points will allow.
