Restoration Anglican accepts with deep gratitude and seriousness the trust given us by God to nurture and care for his people, especially those who are most vulnerable and in need of protection. We seek to create a positive and healthy environment for children, parents, and volunteers by requiring our Children’s Ministry volunteers to follow these five steps:

  1. Screening: volunteers must submit to various background checks.

  2. Training: volunteers must complete several trainings on abuse prevention and awareness.

  3. Interacting: volunteers must follow specified guidelines for verbal and physical  interactions with children.

  4. Monitoring: volunteers must ensure that there is adequate adult supervision.

  5. Respond and Report Abuse: volunteers are encouraged to respond any suspicion of abuse or neglect to Hennepin County Child Protection Services.

More information on these steps can be found in our Policies and Procedures.

Please reach out to any of the following individuals to report an incident or simply chat further about our policies and procedures.
