We're Hiring: Pastor of Community Life

Dear Restoration,

I have exciting news to share about a new staff position. Thanks be to God, Restoration continues to grow. At our monthly Newcomer Dinners, many who are choosing to make Restoration their home tell us that they are coming from contexts of hurt, doubt, and weariness. They tell us that Restoration’s liturgical rhythms, culture of hospitality, and vibrant worship help to restore their faith in Christ and his Church. What a blessing that Restoration can be a place of solace, grace, and healing.

In light of the increased ministry needs of our congregation, the Parish Council has approved the addition of another full time pastoral role: Pastor of Community Life. This person will cultivate robust ministries for welcoming newcomers, connect attenders to various parts of church life, and develop the small group ministry. We hope to hire a woman already ordained as a deacon in the ACNA, and has previous experience working on a church staff. As clergy, this pastor will preach and also assist in the sacramental ministries and pastoral care of the church..

To learn more about the role, please visit the Jobs page on our website. This will be publicized on the ACNA job board and other channels, but we’d also appreciate your help spreading the word.

I’ll be forming a hiring committee soon. Please pray for the committee, the applicants, and the congregation. May Restoration be a place where the lost find a home, the broken are healed, faith is matured, and the presence of Christ is made known!

Peace,
Fr. Rick
