On Monday, Feb 28th, Anglican churches in the Twin Cities along with many friends and neighbors came together to pray against the war in Ukraine. Attached below is a video of the service and the bulletin we used. May these serve as a blessing to you as we pray for the church and for the world.

Good morning! As many of you are well aware, today is an important election day. I’m sharing with you three prayers to guide you as you pray for our city. The first is written by Laura C., our Prayer Team leader, and the the other two are collects from our Book of Common Prayer. Archbishop Foley recently called all churches to a time of prayer for two major crises: Afghanistan and Haiti.

Once again, local tragedy tears open deep wounds in our society. A young man’s life is snuffed out, riots ensure, and people plead for justice. We’re angry, saddened, and afraid. We long for shalom in our own hearts and cities.
