Simple Liturgical Changes

Simple Liturgical Changes

Many of our local customs were shaped by the fact that we were a portable church. Our practices and equipment needed to be nimble and basic. Now being settled in a permanent home, we are able to incorporate some more of our vibrant, sacramental heritage into our regular worship. May these subtle changes help stir your heart into greater awareness of the goodness and beauty of God.

A Season of Waiting

A Season of Waiting

My soul magnifies the Lord,” Mary rejoices after being blessed by her cousin Elizabeth, who received the Holy Spirit as the two women met each other in the house of Zechariah. All of Israel had been waiting for so long for the Messiah to come and set this people free from their captivity, a promise he made to their forefathers, and now the moment was here! Elizabeth’s baby leapt in her womb for the joy of it all. Mary was about to give birth to that long-awaited Messiah, Jesus.

All Saints Celebrations

All Saints Celebrations

All Saints is the high holy day in which we thank God for our spiritual mothers and fathers who have gone before us, faithfully stewarding the Good News of Jesus Christ. We ask God to give us the strength and courage to continue to proclaim his grace to a new generation.

Restoration will be holding several events before and after All Saints in order to celebrate the family of God that we have been adopted into through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Enjoy these parties, baptisms, reaffirmations of faith, and times of feasting.
